libgnome fails to compile on amd64

Yeah, I thought about that when I looked at the proposed fix for the
alpha problem.  Since the commit message implied this was merged from
libgnome HEAD, and since ade was building GNOME 2.9 packages on amd64, I
assumed their fix was okay.  I'll fix this.
