rhythmbox error on playback attempt

Hi,

When I try to playback any mp3 file, I got:
Failed to create mad element; check your installation

I was rebuilding all the mad stuff as well as rhythmbox itself. Any
other step to be taken?

FreeBSD 4.9
Gnome 2.4.1
Rhythmbox 0.6.4 with GStreamer backend
