GDM config for other wm's

Try deleting ~/.dmrc.  I just tried this again with my twm.desktop (I
don't have KDE installed, but I assume the example on I gave in the FAQ
would work for KDE), and it worked fine:

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=TWM
Comment=This session logs you into twm
Exec=/usr/X11R6/bin/twm
TryExec=/usr/X11R6/bin/twm
Icon=
Type=Application

I have a ~/.xsession file, and that doesn't interfere.  I also have a
~/.gnomerc (not used by GDM anymore), and that doesn't interfere.  Nor
does ~/.xinitrc.  However, I haven't tried ~/.Xclients yet, though.  If
you have such a file, you might try removing it.
