No.  BUILD_DEPENDS are tricky.  That's why you should checkout the FAQ
at http://www.freebsd.org/gnome/.  It goes over using portupgrade to
keep all your ports (especially GNOME components) up-to-date.  I like to
run portupgrade -ra every time I need to upgrade ports.

This is most likely symptomatic of a larger problem (probably a missing
library).  In order to properly troubleshoot this, we would need to see
the entire build output for galeon2.
