Gnome 2.3.1 frozen, can't load desktop anymore..

I'm unable to reproduce this on -STABLE with an AJ malloc.conf. CAn you
see if setting aj fixes it? CAn you also recompile libc and libc_r with
debugging symbols to see if we can get more info? What options do you
have enabled in Nautilus?
