this ports has no patch.:
http://www.marcuscom.com:8080/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/ports/graphics/libgnomecanvas/files/

seem's you did download the tarball an extract it over the old ports.
you should use marcusmerge because this script delete the original
ports-directory before it extracts the new one.

if this not the case then try remove the whole port-directory and
run marcusmerge again.
if the patch is still there then remove the complete files-directory.
