Ok I know the reason now.
vfs-daemon --oaf-activate-iid=OAFIID:GNOME_VFS_Daemon_Factory
--oaf-ior-fd=28
Sometimes on startup, two vfs-daemon processes are started. Is one of
these parameters a unique id? Because both processes have exact same
parameters. Killing the second one (which hangs while pegging the cpu)
will allow nautilus to start up.
This is happening 2 out of 3 times for me, on startup.
Any reasons why this is happening to me? And what I can do to find out
more about it?
