git setup/usage question

Worktrees are quite useful, but IMO we've probably over-documented then
our base docs.  Most people don't need them and the subtle differences
they impose on workflows vs trivial clones makes it (very slightly) harder
for people to find answers to their git questions.  I'm happy to see
people write these things up, but >90% of people are probably better off just
wasting a little diskspace and bandwidth.
