Crypto mode is plain AES-XTS, same as in the original report from Nick.

I don't have neither a suitable environment on hand nor the necessary knowledge
of how to do such an analysis. If given some pointers (preferably pre-digested
for this purpose) to help overcome the second part, I'll probably be motivated
to try to find a solution to the first, too - if nobody beats me to it.
