Cannot save attachments in ThunderBird 68.0

Hello.

Since I upgraded to TB 68.0, I'm experiencing a problem opening or 
saving an attachment.

I opened a bug here:

However they say they cannot reproduce this and possibly this is a 
FreeBSD specific bug.
So I'd like to ask: is anyone experiencing this?
Anyone willing to test if they can reproduce it?
