Hi gecko,

I'd really like my Firefox back, but 24.0 isn't happy on my FreeBSD 9.2.

output from 'uname -a'
---------------------
FreeBSD coot.marsh 9.2-RELEASE FreeBSD 9.2-RELEASE #0 r255898: Fri Sep 27
03:52:52 UTC 2013 root at bake.isc.freebsd.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC
i386

output from 'ident /usr/ports/www/firefox/Makefile'
---------------------------------------------------
/usr/ports/www/firefox/Makefile:
     $FreeBSD: www/firefox/Makefile 331644 2013-10-26 00:52:33Z gerald $

where / when did proble occur
-----------------------------
During 'make install'

How can I reproduce the problem?
--------------------------------
The exact same problem occurred when trying to build under FreeBSD 9.0.

Output at point of failure (slightly unaligned by cut-and-paste)
----------------------------------------------------------------

../../media/webrtc/signaling/signaling_ecc/src/peerconnection/PeerConnectionImpl.o:

 ===> Compilation failed unexpectedly.
Try to set MAKE_JOBS_UNSAFE=yes and rebuild before reporting the failure
to
 the maintainer.
  *** [do-build] Error code 1

  Stop in /usr/ports/www/firefox.
  *** [install] Error code 1

  Stop in /usr/ports/www/firefox.

Comments
--------
1. Error occurs even when I set # env MAKE_JOBS_UNSAFE=yes
2. real memory = 1024 MB, available memory = 980 MB ... if this is
insufficient (see scond line of "output" above) is there another version of
Firefox that will build?

Thanks for any suggestions / assistance,

Steven Brownjohn
