Is the snapshot hanging on a filesystem that passes fsck, or are you trying it
on an unclean filesystem? Snapshots should only be done on clean filesystems.
When you say that fsck panics while trying to clean the filesystem, do you mean
that the kernel panics or that fsck fails. If it is fsck that is failing, what
are the flags that you are using and how does it fail? If it hangs, please type
^T to get it to report what it is doing.
