(In reply to Harald Schmalzbauer from comment #12)
FreeBSD bosco.local 13.0-STABLE FreeBSD 13.0-STABLE #0
stable/13-18097ee2f-dirty: Fri Feb 12 20:16:32 CET 2021
hes at preed.egn.mo1.omnilan.net:/usr/local/share/deploy-tools/obj/CoffeeLake-stable_13/amd64.amd64/sys/CoffeeLake.bosco
amd64
bosco:/usr/home/admin/#:3 mdmfs -s 100m 3 /mnt
bosco:/usr/home/admin/#:4 mksnap_ffs /mnt/.snap/test2
bosco:/usr/home/admin/#:5 fstyp /mnt/.snap/test2
ssh dead due to crash...
Will compile main for that machine, but this takes few hours.
Can you confirm that the your machine doesn't panic with the 3 commands from
above (note that I'm not running fstyp(8) against /dev/mdX but /mnt/.snap/test2
itself - this was a feasable way of determining the validity of a auto-detected
snapshot in my deploy/update chain)
Thanks,
-harry
