I'll apply the patch and schedule a maintenance window to reboot the database
server tonight.

If the hang happens again (ie this patch does not fix it) I will also downgrade
to 11.2, which as Julien describes is painful.

ncrogers if I understand correctly you've been running this patch in production
for about 6 weeks now? (on april 1st you said two weeks). Still working fine?

Could you please comment if you do run into anything or have any indication the
patch does not (eventually) work?

Safest would be to schedule maintenance and downgrade but it'd be great to get
this fixed so I'll try the patch and risk one crash.
