Sorry for my delay, and thank you so much for detailed explanation of
the issue. As you mentioned, the reason I want to use the snapshot
feature on UFS is to get live dumps. So the snapshots are usually
removed once they are rsync'ed successfully, and personally, they can
be removed and/or truncated at occasional filesystem recovery.

Anyway, I'll use UFS without snapshot as I can't offer $25k.
