patch to ignore errors when executing demo programs

I have the same issue.

Since the coredumps seem to happen when running demo programs, I have modified
the Makefile to ignore them. See the attached patch.

However, I do not know whether this points to a deeper problem or not. The
patch is just a workaround to get the build to complete.
