Ancient, vulnerable ftp/linux-c6/-curl

Is there any hope of getting an updated linux-c6-curl in the tree? It's
been tagged as vulnerable and the fixed version was also released over a
year ago.

Is it time to move to linux c7? Is it ready for prime-time?
