VirtualBox and HAL / D-Bus / PulseAudio (?)

 From my understanding of the Makefile it seems DBUS option has nothing 
to do with HAL.

Is there a global WITHOUT_HAL option we can use ?  That would be great.

And I can definitely live without PulseAudio, OSS works great here.
