there's a patch: http://www.vlakno.cz/~rdivacky/patches/linux_epoll.patch
waiting to be finished. this patch does not work after fork, ie. the epoll()
is not present in the child... the fork thing must be done in kqueue and is
not completely trivial. if someone wnats to finish this I am willing to help.
