Are you using GNOME 2.12? It comes with a newer fontconfig which isn't
compatible with linux-fontconfig.

If this is the case:
 - That's the reason you see this problem.
 - The patch should be incorporated into the marcuscom repository.

Which linux_base are you using? If you use a non-default one (it would
explain your other problem, I will talk about it in the reply to the
other mail about it): it needs to be tested with the default one before
it can be committed.

Don't add the master site here, it should be added in bsd.sites.mk.
