If you have a fix for 20040505 please give it a try and see whether it
also applies (or can be ported) to a current version and submit it to
the Wine developer at wine-patches at winehq.com.

Wine is still in alpha, and 20040505 is a dead end, so it would be good
if someone could look into these problems with current versions.
