Style revisions, accessibility enhancements, and ports statistics updates
throughout the book.

Style revisions, accessibility enhancements, and ports statistics updates
throughout the book.

- Make pronouns truly gender-agnostic.

- Correct typos and minor grammar errors.

- Update number of ports vs. time graph to a less outdated version (from
https://web.archive.org/web/20121223081637if_/http://www.freebsd.org/ports/growth/status.png).

- Enhance screenreader friendliness of pictures.

- Remove reference to deleted image.

- Add link to FDP primer.

Tested with lynx, but should ideally be tested by someone using a screenreader.

Note 1: Images removed from the English version but still used by translations
have been kept until the translations catch up. These images are:
share/images/books/dev-model/hats-overview.png,
share/images/books/dev-model/maintenance.png,
share/images/books/dev-model/orghierarchy.png,
share/images/books/dev-model/orghierarchy.sla,
share/images/books/dev-model/orghierarchy2.png, and
share/images/books/dev-model/proc-releng.png.

Note 2: I think it's OK to include a local copy of
https://web.archive.org/web/20121223081637if_/http://www.freebsd.org/ports/growth/status.png
in the document, since that image came from the FreeBSD website originally. But
IANAL, so take that opinion with appropriate amounts of salt.

Note 3: I'm attaching the modified picture
(share/images/books/dev-model/portsstatus.png) separately, because it doesn't
look like uploading a svn diff will do the right thing with it.
