Suppprted hardware list and peripherals

Hi all,

I recently purchased a Dell MD1420 SAS enclosure and it works great with
the LSI SAS9300-4i4e adapter.

I think it would be nice for other folk to know that is a compatible
combination.  I don't see peripherals in the hardware compatibility list.
I understand it would be an unrealistic moving target.

Maybe the mpr(4) manpage would be more appropriate given the specificity?

Any suggestions who I should ask about this?
