About My Client:
This repeat-Client is a 3D printing startup that integrates the latest exponential technologies in components, sensors, optical systems and chemistry to apply Moore’s Law to a new, proprietary 3D Printing technology. The result is a desktop, professional 3D Printer that takes 3D Printing from hours to minutes making it FASTER, with a LARGER build volume, at HIGHER resolutions and a LOWER cost. They're doing this with a user experience and a design oriented approach making their 3D technology elegant and compact.
Their 3D printer has been designed to offer the best and the smartest ultra-fast 3D Printing experience, from a clean cartridge system to a complete cognitive hardware and stand-alone technology that let users adopt this machine quickly in any kind of environment and for any type of usage.
We are currently hiring for the position of VP of Hardware Engineering and R&D in our Ventura California facility. This is rare and unique opportunity to build and scale the engineering department of a mixed hardware/firmware and software team.
As VP of Hardware Engineering and R&D you will be working on the definition and execution of the 3DPrinter roadmap and product delivery, expanding the technical capabilities of the organization, building hardware/firmware teams, managing multiple products and research projects, and working with our manufacturing partners.

(1B) Chief Operating Officer (Ventura, CA)
The Chief Operating Officer position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is responsible and accountable for the planning, management, performance, and improvement of the company operational management and growth. The COO serves as a key member of the executive leadership team and represents the CEO and the Board in interactions with employees, customers, vendors, partners, and other organizations.
Responsibilities:
* Provides direction and leadership in the identification, development, and implementation of strategies, programs, ordinances, policies, decisions, assignments, and activities to ensure efficient and effective results.
* Provides direction and leadership to the company in its executions and alignments of the company strategic visions.
* Directs and evaluates the performance of organizational programs, and personnel; plans, organizes, oversees, authorizes, and coordinates departmental and corporate wide systems, routines, projects, assignments, and activities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

(2) OEM Marketing Manager (West Coast)
This client is one of the world's largest electronic chemicals companies and they have retained me to identify candidates (ideally local) for a position based in Palo Alto, CA. They seek a talented marketing manager to work with OEMs and achieve design-ins using their proprietary chemicals and processes for interconnects (PWBs, and assembled parts).
Fluency in an Asian language would be a plus and travel is anticipated to be approximately 50%. The primary requirement for the position would be a track-record of accomplishment in working with OEMs to drive adoption of specific standard processes in surface finishing of PWBs and/or interconnects.
BS or MS in Chemistry, Materials Science or Physical Science is needed; PhD would be a plus. Experience with electroless nickel, electroless copper, immersion gold and other plating processes for PWBs and laminates would be a plus. Must have good communication and "people" skills.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in physical science or engineering discipline
Minimum of 8 years of industry experience, either at a PWB manufacturer, electronics assembly manufacturer (EMS), electrochemical material or manufacturing system supplier
Minimum of 4 years in a technical marketing role or equivalent, with responsibilities including working directly with electronics systems design/manufacturing companies (OEMs) with concentration on the specification of printed wiring boards, flexible circuits, and/or electronic components.
Track record of achieving superior results in development, market introduction and commercialization of new products and processes for printed wiring board manufacturing and/or finishing of electronic components.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluent English language
Ability to travel frequently in all regions (estimate ~ 50% travel)
Desired Experience:
Masters degree or PhD in physical sciences or engineering discipline
MBA degree with concentration in marketing, innovation management or equivalent
Four or more years of experience working directly for an electronics system design/manufacturing company (OEM) with global leadership in telecommunication, consumer products, and/or automotive industries.
Experience in characterization and optimization of electrochemical processes.
Four or more years’ experience in a supervisory, project management or program management position, leading high-performance cross-functional teams of marketing, sales, engineering and R&D personnel.
Fluency in Japanese, Chinese or Korean language, and fluency in Asian cultures
(4) Senior Sales/Account Management Position, Novel Storage Solutions
JOB SUMMARY:
Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers in enterprise systems companies which are current or potential customers. Manage sales process for innovative storage solutions which are in late development stage. Develop and communicate enterprise systems benefits using innovative storage solutions. Manage relationships with enterprise systems customers’ decision-makers, including procurement/supply chain teams, etc. The title is pretty flexible and could easily be a Director role (if appropriate), or possibly higher.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The applicant must have over 10 years experience in a senior role selling innovative, leading-edge storage solutions to major enterprise systems customers. Should have familiarity with enterprise systems architectures. Masters degree a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Must be a strong communicator with customers
Ability to write clearly and concisely in both text and Powerpoint documents
Deep knowledge of the sales process for novel solutions to enterprise system customers
