FreeBSD senkbeil.org 9.1-RELEASE FreeBSD 9.1-RELEASE #0 r243825: Tue Dec 4 09:23:10 UTC 2012 root at farrell.cse.buffalo.edu:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC amd64
>Description:
The page in question: http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en/articles/solid-state/kernel.html
Reference: http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-stable/2005-May/015115.html
According to a post in the reference above, pseudo-device (used with "pseudo-device md") is no longer used. Furthermore, in the generic kernel configuration, "device md" already exists.
>How-To-Repeat:
Visit the webpage.
>Fix:
Ensure that the entry "device md" already exists in the generic kernel and, if so, make a note of that on the page? Probably further investigate what should be done for SSDs with 9.1-RELEASE.
