I believe it would be useful to make some mention of the fact ping6 is required to ping IPv6 IP addresses in the IPv6 section of the handbook:

Also might be worth mentioning nslookup by default will not search for AAAA records (yep I know its deprecated but bet its still used more often than any other DNS lookup tool).
Id say these are worth mentioning as other OSs don´t necessarily behave the same way and this can be confusing for those who have to manage multiple OSs. IE solaris doesnt have a ping6 command, but Linux does etc....
