Hi Phil,

A quick look at /etc/defaults/rc.conf confirms your findings:

$ more /etc/defaults/rc.conf |grep dhcp

dhclient_program="/sbin/dhclient"    # Path to dhcp client program.
dhclient_flags=""        # Extra flags to pass to dhcp client.
...

I've patched the handbook a few minutes ago, it will appear on the 
website in (mostly) a few hours.
