The line you are talking about is really specific as stated in the
previous sentence: 'If you have a single AirPort base station you can
setup access with something like:
ifconfig_ath0="authmode shared wepmode on weptxkey 1 wepkey 01234567
DHCP" '
Then 3 sentences later you are pointed to the "29.3.3.1.4 WEP" section.
This section gives more details.
