Patch for Introduction chapter of the handbook

Hi folks,
Attached you can find a relative small patch that corrects some
mistakes in the introduction chapter of the handbook: a) we no longer
have a Perl distribution in the base system b) We now have a RELENG_6
branch so update FreeBSD History as needed.
