Hmmm.. that man page is unaccountably missing from the 5.1-RELEASE
collection on the web site. It's there for 4.9-stable:
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=as&apropos=0&sektion=0&manpath=FreeBSD+4.9-stable&format=html
and it's back (much expanded) in the 5.1-current manpages:
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=as&apropos=0&sektion=0&manpath=FreeBSD+5.1-current&format=html
