Hosting Own Domain: Please Help!!!

Hello

I am looking to set up my own web site using FreeBSD and Apache, but i'll 
need at least 20GB of space, so i'd like to host my own site.  I have a 
domain name and a DSL connection with a static ip.  I'm quite new to UNIX 
and Apache, can you give me some help on how to link the domain name to my 
ip. Any help would be much appreciated.
