Hi,
My test box using the stable FreeBSD 6.1-PRERELEASE and from the ports
system installed MySQL 4.1.18. The problem is: after reboot my test box,
MySQL don't wakeup at startup, but manually
(/usr/local/etc/rc.d/mysql-server start) it starts and works fine. Maybe
it some bug?
1. In rc.conf i put this line as usually:
mysql_enable="YES"
2. Datadir looks fine too:
# ls -l /var/db/mysql/
total 20534
-rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 5242880 Apr 4 23:52 ib_logfile0
-rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 5242880 Apr 4 23:48 ib_logfile1
-rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 10485760 Apr 4 23:52 ibdata1
-rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 1316 Apr 4 23:52 test.err
drwx------ 2 mysql mysql 1536 Apr 4 23:48 mysql
drwx------ 2 mysql mysql 512 Apr 4 23:48 test
After that, i tried to change "mysql" user to "root" into mysql startup
script, but i got the same problem.
Thanks for any comments.
