Somethign missing in my environment?

Did anyone ever find out what caused this? I'm having the exact same problem..

system: Recent 12-current x86_64
src to build: 12-current

My solution is to use ezjail to make a 12-current jail, mount the
source folder in the jail and build in there.

I wonder if uninstalling all gcc-related pkgs might help?..
