10-alpha1 iso does not boot

Is your CD-RW not recognized even before it tries to boot?

Is your disc1.iso burned to CD or DVD?  Is the drive CD or DVD?

If you can't get disc1.iso to work, you might try memstick.img and dd to USB stick.
