AFFECTS: 10-CURRENT users with any port depending on converters/libiconv

I am hitting following failure while building devel/glib20

 gconvert.c:66:2: error: GNU libiconv not in use but included iconv.h is
from libiconv
#error GNU libiconv not in use but included iconv.h is from libiconv

How do I get past this?
