Worked perfectly.  Maybe it would be a good idea to put the step by
step solution for other folks like me who  haven't put enough effort
to understand the 20110815: entry.  Something like.

a. csup
b. make buildkernel KERNCONF=your_config
c. make installkernel
d. make buildworld
e. make installworld
f. Reboot to see if it worked.

hmmmm f. maybe not.
