hi,
hi,
i have edit my ~/.xinitrc to
exec dbus-launch --exit-with-session gnome-session
and /etc/rc.conf to
dbus_enable="YES"
hald_enable="YES"
but it takes no effect.Maybe there is really some compatability problem in 'current-package' and FreeBSD 7.0.
but I really want to use current packages.What can I do to upgrade my FreeBSD 7.0 to 8.0 CURRENT?

Add the following to rc.conf:
dbus_enable="YES"
hald_enable="YES"
~/.xinitrc should look like this:
exec dbus-launch --exit-with-session gnome-session
Make sure both dbus and hald are running before startx.
