how to config for run compiz fusion

I have used the guide on FreeBSD
http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en/articl...ion/index.html.

and tried 

setenv LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT true
compiz --replace --indirect-rendering --sm-disable ccp &

The only left working is the mouse cursor, all windows, buttons and
menus nothing works not even the keyboard hitting Ctrl-Alt-Backspace.
The entire system hangs and I have to reset the computer.

That would be X right?
