Does latest u-boot.bin from sysutils/u-boot-rpi4 work for you?
I have no idea why I get a boot error and how to fix it:

sdhci_bcm1-slot0: Controller timeout
[...]
mmcsd0: Error indicated: 1 Timeout

Luckily I have a backup of an old version:

I'll try to replace the microsd card.
