It should be, in theory. In practice, I haven't measured that yet.
The new stack is still missing support for high-speed cards.
Although it's trivial to switch both the stack and the card to HS mode
from the userland via camcontrol.

I just haven't had time to do such tests, and in general work on the
stack during the last three months due to ENOTIME.
