Greeting-

I have been banging on my zfs formated usb flash drive for a couple of
days with no crashes, and no other problems.

I think zfs seems to be working much better than ufs on USB flash drives
in the BeagleBone.

I previously posted my settings, but here they are again for anyone
else who wants to run ZFS on their BeagleBone.

/etc/rc.conf:

#
zfs_enable="YES"

/boot/loader.conf:

zfs_load="YES"

# from zfstuning wiki
#
vm.kmem_size="256M"

vm.kmem_size_max="256M"

vfs.zfs.arc_max="24M"

vfs.zfs.vdev.cache.size="5M"

While the BeagleBone kernel config tells the system to build
opensolaris.ko I had to manually locate the zfs module dir and build
and install from there.

Zfs also seems to have pretty good write speed on usb-flash. My write
speeds on copy from the sd card to the usb flash were 5 to 10 times
faster.
