Why abandone a well-working paritioning scheme? Granted, it has
some limitations but it was the only working way of getting a
decent partitioning on x86 platfrom until GPT was introduced.
Stripping it out from sysinstall wouldn't be benefitable at all.
Bsdlabels work great in some situations, e.g. I use them for
embedded devices where bios is custom build and can successfully
boot from bsdlabel-partitioned disk.
