You need APR random support to use mod_auth_digest.
Look at APR configure options --with-egd and --with-devrandom.
checking whether to enable mod_auth_digest... configure: error:
mod_auth_digest has been requested but can not be built due to prerequisite
failures
===> Script "configure" failed unexpectedly.
Please report the problem to apache at FreeBSD.org [maintainer] and attach the
"/usr/ports/www/apache22/work/httpd-2.2.23/config.log" including the output
of the failure of your make command. Also, it might be a good idea to
provide
an overview of all packages installed on your system (e.g. a
/usr/sbin/pkg_info
-Ea).
*** [do-configure] Error code 1
