www/apache22 2.2.22_8 broken on IPv4-only system

Thanks Olli,
I hadn't considered that option because its description says, "Allow
IPv6 socket to handle IPv4", and the system doesn't have IPv6. However,
because you suggested it, I tried anyway. Still no joy.
