I will give it a go. I didn't see anything on the terminal, just found myself
at the boot screen.
In my attempt to dd the image, I got 4.1GB out of 32GB and a "device not
configured". My attempt to have the drive show up on my mac was unsuccessful,
while another SD card would show up fine.
So, I'm now suspecting that there is a data corruption on the SD card. I don't
think it should still be able to reboot my machine, but it may not be something
that would be normally expected.
I'm happy to help how I can.
I'll turn debug.debugger_on_panic=1 and see if I can gather a backtrace. I'm

in the hopes that it'll lead me correctly.
FWIW, I've got encrypted swap and zfs underneath the system.
