Interesting... I can reproduce this problem but only if I repeat the
instructions twice:
$ zfs snapshot foo at panic
$ ls -d /foo/.zfs/snapshot/panic
$ zfs destroy foo at panic
... no problem here ...
$ zfs snapshot foo at panic
$ ls -d /foo/.zfs/snapshot/panic
$ zfs destroy foo at panic
... now it panics ...
This is using a UFS root filesystem and a freshly created pool.
