Hello,
On FreeBSD 10.X /bin/sh performed interpreting of escape caracters like this
one:
export PS1=$'\1\r\1\e[0;31m\1#\1\e[0m\1 '
on FreeBSD 11-beta1 it doesn't anymore. My shell prompt looks like this:
[0;31m#[0m
