Assuming you use 9.1 release, the line 1927 is the fragment
if (curproc == p && !SIGISMEMBER(curthread->td_sigmask, sig))
return (curthread);
I find it quite unlikely to be a software problem, at least with stock
9.1. Do you use any out of tree modules ?
Do the following in kgdb with the loaded crash dump:
