amd64 @ vmware esx 3.5?

Hi!

I cannot install FreeBSD 7.0 amd64 on VmWare ESX 3.5. The kernel panics 
when trying to read the virtual cd-image that I mount in the VmWare client. 
Did anyone else succeed?

I shall of course supply more details, but right now I'm interested in 
hearing success stories, does it work at all? Googling gives that there 
might be a problem with the cdrom driver in FreeBSD? Any ideas?
