Acer 1440x900 LCD Displays support in 7.0?

I have an Acer 1440x900 LCD which only works in 64-bit AMD OpenBSD 4.2
in 1280x1024 mode and even that only when I replace the default ATI
driver with the VESA driver. Will 64-bit FreeBSD 7.0 run the display
at the full 1440x900 resolution?

My motherboard is a k9n  neo and my video card is a Sapphire Radeon
x550.
